Xiaomi sold over 2,50,000 units of Redmi Note 4 in first sale

Xiaomi has confirmed that it sold over 2,50,000 units of Redmi Note 4 smartphone during the first sale on Mi.com and Flipkart. The company tweeted that it sold these many devices in 10 minutes thus making it the biggest smartphone sale ever in India. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4was announced in India on January 19 and the product was made available in its first sale yesterday.



Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is 2017's first smartphone launch from the Chinese smartphone maker in India. The smartphone carries on the legacy of its predecessor Redmi Note 3 by offering value for money specifications and long lasting battery life. xiaomi redmi note 4 features a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor. The smartphone was announced in three storage variants but only 3GB and 4GB RAM variants were available for sale.




xiaomi redmi note 4improves over its predecessor with a new 13MP rear snapper. The rear camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, dual tone flash and supports phase detection autofocus. There is also a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording.



The smartphone comes with rear mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4100mAh battery with support for fast charging. It will initially be available in gray and gold colours, but the company also plans to introduce a black variant at a later stage.
